Ceylan Mineral Mining holds extensive mining licenses and high reserve capacity in the Çankırı and Ankara regions.
Our strategic sodium bentonite reserves in Çankırı province amount to approximately 5,000,000 tons. These high-quality reserves have been tested and approved for use in multiple sectors, including cat litter, drilling, foundry, GCL production, pelletizing, fertilizer, feed additives, and soil improvement applications.
We operate under environmentally friendly mining principles, efficient resource management, and reserve optimization strategies, with all processes managed by expert engineers and technical teams.
Processing and Activation of the Quarries
Our production facility, located in the Çankırı Yakınkent Organized Industrial Zone—approximately 75 km from Ankara—is built on 50,000 m² of open area and 7,000 m² of closed production space. The facility is only 8 km from our mining site, providing significant logistical and cost advantages.
With an annual bentonite processing capacity of 225,000 tons, raw bentonite extracted from our mines undergoes the following processes:
- Raw ore feeding
- Mixing and extrusion
- Drying
- Crushing and grinding
- Screening
- Packaging
Final products are delivered to the market as:
- Finished cat litter products
- Industrial bentonite for sector-specific applications
- Customized technical bentonite formulations
